Sarah came thoughtfully and directly to the rescue. She created an instant, goal oriented and friendly rapport that was, most importantly, incredibly productive from the very start and taught our son to embrace preparedness and achievement as his own accomplishments.

"We were in a complete state of crisis when we contacted Sarah for help for our high school freshman son. A smart kid, he was overwhelmed in his first year of a demanding high school curriculum and had slid into a terrible situation of falling behind, not studying or completing assignments and being frozen with anxiety about it. Sarah came thoughtfully and directly to the rescue. She created an instant, goal oriented and friendly rapport that was, most importantly, incredibly productive from the very start and taught our son to embrace preparedness and achievement as his own accomplishments. He settled down, focused and miraculously finished with great grades from a bad trough just a few months before the end of the year. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Sarah is at what she does and how grateful I am for her intervention in the academic life of our son. Anyone would be lucky to have her work with their son or daughter."

"My high school junior is very nervous about standardized tests, and they are hard for her. We hoped to find someone who could help her prepare for the structure and skills needed for the SAT, but who also would build her confidence and put her more at ease. My daughter felt comfortable with Sarah immediately, while my husband and I saw as well that she was a real professional. Sarah did a great job at assessing where my daughter was and what they needed to focus on in their sessions, and on top of that, she made my daughter feel good about herself in the process. Sarah meets kids where they are, really gets to know them, and then delivers an individualized approach that will result in a positive experience. I recommend her highly. "

"Sarah worked with my 13-year old daughter, Ruby, on her executive functioning issues throughout Ruby’s seventh grade year.  From the start, Ruby thought Sarah was ‘cool,’ but wasn’t so sure she needed any help.  Sarah took Ruby’s reluctance in stride and initially just let Ruby tell her about her school work.  Invariably, Ruby would mention something that she could use some help on and Sarah capitalized on those openings and got down to work.  For the better part of 3 months or so, Sarah helped Ruby task analyze projects, large and small, and socialized Ruby to the concept of planning ahead when multiple assignments were coming due in the same time frame."
